About Melody
Melody is a gentle, sensitive cat finding her way in a big world. She’s very shy and needs a patient adopter who respects how long it can take her to trust. With time in a calm home, Melody will slowly start to emerge from her shell. Right now, she isn’t ready to accept affection from people, but she may allow soft pets once she feels safe. Treats are a good way to help Melody make progress—food motivates her to be brave. What she loves most, though, is the company of other cats. Melody lights up around feline friends and gravitates to them for snuggles and soft headbutts. Because of this, it’s important for Melody’s future home to already have a friendly, confident cat who will accept Melody’s affection and help draw her out. Given a gentle, social kitty companion and a human willing to wait for her to open up, Melody could become a quietly loving presence. Fun fact: Melody is a Taurus, so she’s steady and, with patience, can become very loyal. Your new best friend is just one click away.
