About Onyx Courtesy Listing
Onyx is part of a bonded brother-sister pair currently looking for a new place to call home due to her family’s abrupt move. She’s a petite, shiny black Domestic Shorthair with a curious streak—especially when there’s a grocery bag in sight—and a talent for finding fun in cat springs. Onyx is more reserved than her brother, Petey, but comes alive with affection at bedtime, happiest curled up for nighttime cuddles. Both Onyx and Petey have only ever lived indoors, so they’re well suited to apartment life or a house. They have grown up with cats, dogs, and kids, making them confident, adaptable, and reliable roommates. Because of the housing change, Onyx hasn't yet been spayed and will need an adopter able to get her started on her vet care. They must be adopted together and a rehoming fee will apply; a home and/or vet check is required. Onyx and Petey are waiting in Tuscaloosa, AL, hoping to land someplace stable where they can stay together and relaxed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
