Please contact us with any questions.** Meet Appletater! Appletater has a silly name to match his equally silly personality. This big boy is 73 pounds of pure fun. He's incredibly sweet, and has a personality that will make you fall in love! He's playful and active, and would love a family that can include him on their adventures. Appletater was picked up as a stray inside town, and unfortunately his owners never came to pick him up. He's now on the lookout for a new home where he can be loved once more! Since he was initially a stray, we don't know much about his background. He seems to get along with our other dogs when they pass by his kennel, but we have yet to introduce him to any. We also have not seen him around cats or kids. We recommend a meet and greet with the whole family prior to adoption to make sure it is a good fit! Appletater's perfect day would be 80% nap time and 20% play. He loves to be chased around our yard or to have you throw toys for him. Be careful, as he tends to jump when excited, and his size can knock someone down if they aren't paying attention! You will notice when you meet Appletater this his ears look a little rough. He recently had surgery to fix a hematoma, and is still healing. His owner will need to finish out his current round of medications, and supervise him to ensure he isn't reopening the wound until it's fully healed. Appletater is truly a one-of-a-kind sweetheart that anyone would be lucky to bring home!
