About Whitney

Whitney came to the shelter as an owner surrender after struggling through a difficult labor. While she lost her kittens, this two-year-old has made a strong recovery in foster care and is now looking for a committed home. Whitney does fine with other cats but is definitely a diva; she’ll shine best as your only cat. She adores people, welcomes affection, and forms strong bonds. A little streak of sass means she isn’t a fit for young children, but kids 8 and up are fine. Whitney is spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She’s a healthy dilute calico with a short coat and is fully house trained. Whitney is waiting in North Haven, CT for someone who will appreciate her strong personality and loving nature. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
