Indigo and his housemates were victims of a house fire. That fire led to the discovery of a hoarding situation with over 60 cats! Sadly, the fire claimed the lives of nearly everyone- leaving just Indigo and three other survivors. Indigo and his three surviving housemates fought hard to survive. All were treated for smoke inhalation, severely burned paw pads, singed fur, and the effects of smoke getting into their eyes. Four months later, Indigo has made a full recovery and is ready for the absolute best home ever. He is a goofball- silly, playful, simple boy. Indigo loves other cats and must have at least one young playmate in his new home. He gets a little carried away when playing and will nip and bunny kick, so a home with small children would not work. Older, cat savvy kids would be fine. Indigo is about 9-10 month old.
