About Frankie

Frankie, also called Thomas Franklin Noodlebaum or Tommy the Tank, is a big-hearted Great Pyrenees mix packed into about 75 lbs of goodwill. He’s still lean and could add a few pounds to fill out his impressive frame. It’s likely he spent his early years outside; since coming off the street in Stanislaus, he’s been soaking up the comforts of home life for the first time—and he’s taking to it fast. Frankie mastered the doggie door within a day and has been making strides with house training. He’ll sleep soundly on his bed all night, walks politely on leash, and already knows some basic cues. Affection is what he wants most. Frankie would rather get his head scratched than take treats. He gets along with other dogs and is happy to be around people and children of all ages. His calm manner, goofy grin, and gentle spirit make him even more charming in person. Frankie’s a wonderful blend of mellow and social—the sort of dog who settles in quietly but always brightens the room. Ready to give this gentle giant a home?
