Teddy is a 13-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle, easygoing spirit honed by years with his previous owners. Despite big changes in his life, he settled quickly into his foster home—even with a home full of other dogs, Teddy fit right in and picked out his favorite dog bed for daily naps. After a couple of weeks, you could spot him perched happily in the lounge chair, soaking up the company and cozy routine of family life. He’s still got plenty of spark, and sometimes surprises everyone with a burst of zoomies around the house. Recently, Teddy was diagnosed with small kidney stones. He’s now on a special dry food, and his vet thinks it will help. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate senior ready to enjoy the comforts of a stable home, Teddy won’t disappoint. By the way, his birthday is August 5—so he’s a Leo, and that little lion heart comes out when he plays. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
