About Ember & Bailey
Meet Ember & Bailey, a pair of large Redbone Coonhound/Shepherd mixes in need of a safe foster or forever home in Southern California, with transport possible to northern areas. Bailey is a 7.5-year-old male weighing 85 lbs, while Ember is a 4.5-year-old female at about 63 lbs. These two are closely bonded—possibly siblings—and have only just begun to learn what kindness looks like. Both can be skittish around new people, with Ember being the more timid of the pair. Their tough background has left them wary of humans, but they’ve shown they can come around with patience and routine. In calmer spaces with time to decompress, their gentle nature becomes clear. They’re not house trained, but they get along well with other dogs. Ember & Bailey need someone patient, understanding, and willing to let them move at their own pace. If you can give them the time and space they need to adjust, these loving dogs will slowly come out of their shells. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
