Spring coat blowout is intense for Huskies in Denver’s dry air. Loose fur will be everywhere for weeks. The altitude means UV is more intense, but the dry heat is much easier on Huskies than humid climates. Enjoy trails at Red Rocks and Chatfield before summer heat.

Jun – Aug

Denver summers reach the 90s but the low humidity is more tolerable for Huskies than coastal cities. Shift exercise to early morning or evening. The altitude means dehydration happens faster, so carry extra water. Cherry Creek Dog Park is good for early morning socialization.
