It is unknown at this time if this is due to a prior injury or congenital issue that is now stable or if this could be a progressive condition. The shelter took x-rays at the time of his neuter, and no obvious abnormalities were noted. The cause of the unsteady gait is likely neurological. Ongoing monitoring will be needed with adopter's veterinarian including possible further diagnostics and treatment.
