Tristan is a curious, loving, chatty boy who wants to explore every inch of your home, sniff everything you eat, and flop by your side or at your feet. He is not a lap cat (yet!) because he’d rather be exploring than snuggling, but he shows affection by yelling with excitement when you enter a room and rearing up into your hand for a scratch. He LOVES scritches and he purrs almost instantly when he gets them. He is fascinated by water and will investigate drains, sinks, and any unattended glasses! He is fairly independent and likes to lounge in a window seat, but he'll sometimes follow you from room to room or flop on your keyboard to request a scratch. He allows being picked up and carried around without complaint, even though he’d rather be doing his own exploring and will get wiggly after a minute or two. Tristan loves to play and he loves wand toys best so far. He wants to chase and play with other cats in the household, so he would do best with another playful young cat. He has good litterbox manners, is not fussy about food, and is smart - he learned how to use an auto feeder in about two minutes! He is very tolerant and doesn't mind getting his nails clipped except for the part about having to stay still! Tristan is about 2 years old and healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and Felv.
