About Perla
Meet Perla, a 3.5-year-old female pit mix who has a smile that just won't quit. At 35lbs, she's a comfortable medium sizeāeasy to manage but bursting with personality. Perla is a gentle, affectionate companion who thrives on closeness and truly wants to be part of the family. Sheās done well around children, enjoys a good cuddle on the couch, and likes to be wherever her people are. Her energy level sits in that happy middle ground: not wild, but still playful and eager for walks or a round of fetch. Perla gets along with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine playmate. She can be vocal in her crate, possibly because much of her past was spent confinedāso crate training may take extra time, or she'd prefer a home where she isnāt left crated for long stretches. For that reason, sheās probably not the best fit for apartment living, especially if neighbors are close by. If youāre after a dog whoās good with kids, sociable with other dogs, and wants nothing more than to be by your side, Perla could be the companion youāve been hoping for.
