About Golan Project Homebound
Golan Project Homebound is a big, gentle dog whose best days are still ahead. He picks things up quickly and thrives on clear direction—ask him to jump on a bench or strike a pose beside some Squishmallows, and he's all in. Even had no issues trying on a hat. Golan loves attention and leans into every pet and scratch you give him. He’s always calm, making it easy to hang out and walk together, despite his impressive size and strength. Don’t be fooled by that stature—he’s never pushy on leash, but new walkers might want a little support at first. Though Golan once seemed fearful in the shelter, he’s opened up after spending time with patient people. He’s great with other dogs and enjoys community events where he shows off his friendly manners. Treats motivate him, and while toys aren’t his thing, he’ll play catch with snacks as long as you’re throwing. Golan does have heartworms and will need someone willing to see him through treatment. For now, he’s only available to rescue groups. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
