Ulieka is a loving, curious, and playful girl who enjoys being close to her people-she's definitely a "lap-loving" companion when she settles down. She has a moderate energy level with a playful streak and would do well in a home that can keep her both mentally and physically engaged. She is doing great with potty training and crate training, resting comfortably in her crate at night and when left alone. Ulieka does very well with children, but she is not a good fit for homes with other dogs or cats. She has strong protective instincts and can be reactive, especially when it comes to sharing her people. Because of this, she needs to be the only pet in the home. She would thrive with an experienced owner who understands protective or working-breed traits. A securely fenced yard is a must, as she has a loud, alert nature and takes her "guard dog" role. Ideal home: A family with dog experience, a fenced yard, and no other pets-someone who appreciates a loyal, protective companion and can provide structure, consistency, and guidance.
