About Sterling
Sterling was found wandering alone during a snowstorm, but her tough start hasn't dulled her spirit a bit. She’s a gorgeous blue-silver pit mix – truly striking, but even more remarkable is her personality. Sterling is full of easygoing, sunshine-bright energy, drawn to people and happiest when she’s pressed right up against you. If you sit down, she’ll nudge herself close, soaking in affection and doling it right back. Her tail never seems to stop wagging. Sterling adores kids. While she can be a bit shy with new people or in crowds, she gains confidence with exposure and patience. She loves other dogs after a proper introduction and comes alive when it’s time to play. (Her feelings about cats are still an open question.) Sterling is housebroken and adapts well to whatever the bedtime routine: snuggled up beside you, curled in her own bed, or resting quietly in her crate. She’s affectionate, joyful, and bonds closely with her humans. If you want a loyal shadow with a playful spark – and a lot of love to give – Sterling’s ready for that new chapter.
