AvailableAbout Dune Delancey
Personality types: Professional Cuddler - Affectionate, loves to snuggle and be close. Dune Delancey is a sweet, older gentleman with a lot of love to give. He came into foster care after being diagnosed with FeLV, and because of this, he would do best as the only cat in the home (or with other FeLV+ cats). Despite his condition, he is not currently sick and enjoys a calm, cozy lifestyle. Dune may take a little time to adjust to a new environment, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes incredibly affectionate and attached to his person. He loves to stay close—whether that’s curling up by your bedside, coming over for cuddles when you lie down, or even keeping you company as your little “guardian” around the house. One of his cutest quirks is that although his voice is very soft and raspy, he gets especially chatty around mealtime, making tiny, frog-like sounds that are absolutely adorable. He does have some mild upper respiratory symptoms, such as occasional sneezing and a bit of nasal discharge, and his voice is a little weak. His stool can sometimes be softer than typical, and he may occasionally need a bit of extra cleanup or care. He would do best with someone patient and understanding who is comfortable giving him a little extra attention when needed. Dune is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can feel safe, relaxed, and cherished. He would thrive with someone who enjoys a gentle, affectionate companion and is willing to give him the extra care and understanding he deserves. Dune Delancey is around 10 years old and is neutered, FeLV+ and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
