About Eli & Sturgill
Meet Eli & Sturgill, an unlikely pair whose bond has quickly turned into an unbreakable brotherhood. Eli, the younger of the duo at about six months old, is a buff-colored sweetheart. He started out nervous and easily overwhelmed, but you can feel him relax as soon as he’s in your arms — the kind of cat who purrs even when afraid, just wanting to be close. He’s making progress in new environments but still needs someone patient to help him build confidence at a steady pace. Sturgill, known as the "Top Tabby," is around two years old and acts very much the big brother — mellow, assured, and full of affection. He adores lap time and will gladly let you scoop him up. Ever since they met, Sturgill’s steady presence has helped Eli feel safe and more at home. The two are rarely apart and hope to be adopted together since they really do bring out the best in each other. Their ideal home is quiet, without young children (older kids over 12 would be fine) and no dogs. They are comfortable with other friendly cats. Temptations treats and simple toys like crinkle balls and catnip keep them entertained. Eli especially needs a gentle adopter willing to give him time to adjust, with Sturgill by his side for support. Sturgill deals with occasional mild asthma, so a home with minimal scented products is best, though he hasn't had symptoms in months. Both are neutered, chipped, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, up-to-date on flea care and vaccinations. If you want an instant cat family with built-in affection and charm, Eli & Sturgill might be just what you’re looking for. They are in Pittsburgh, PA. Ready to fall in love?
