At just under 3 months old, Zephyr is all puppy charm wrapped up in a wiggly, curious little body. He’s playful and bright-eyed, always ready to investigate whatever life puts in front of him… and then promptly decide it might be better experienced as a cuddle instead. One minute he’s bouncing around with his siblings, the next he’s flopped right into your lap like he’s known you forever. Zephyr’s start in life wasn’t easy. He and his family were found near a busy highway, where danger was constant and time was not on their side. There were originally 10 puppies in the litter, but heartbreak struck before help could arrive—two were tragically lost. Thankfully, a dedicated volunteer was able to step in and bring Zephyr, his seven siblings, and their mama Zinnia to safety, where they’ve all been able to finally just… be puppies. Now Zephyr is in his next chapter, soaking up all the care and love his foster home can give him. He’s learning the basics—potty training, puppy manners, and how to grow into a confident, well-rounded dog. Like any young pup, he’ll do best with a family that can offer structure, patience, continued training, and plenty of love as he grows. He gets along well with other animals and would likely enjoy a home with kids who are up for a little playful chaos and lots of laughter. Zephyr has that special kind of puppy energy that keeps things fun—but he’s also got a gentle side that shines through when it’s time to settle in close. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions. VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
