Until a year ago, Murphy was living as an outdoor cat. He had a dedicated caregiver looking out for him when one day he became very sick. Community cats are great at caring for themselves but when it comes to sickness LHS will take in even the most nervous cats if it means we can treat them and get them back on their feet. Murphy would have gone back home with his caregiver if not for the fact that, on top of his cold, Murphy also had FIV (not contagious to other cats except through deep wounds) and was missing all of his teeth! Murphy is 11 years old so getting out of the shelter would be the best Valentine's gift ever! Murphy was fostered for some time last year but hasn't had a break since.
