About Phoenix

Phoenix had a rough start when he was hit by a car as a young cat, needing surgery to recover from major back-end injuries. Despite this, he’s fully mobile and still loves to jump, climb, and play like any other cat. Phoenix doesn’t have full control of his bowels, but he manages well with a consistent diet, resulting in small, firm stools—sometimes they just don’t land in the box, but otherwise he is reliably litter box trained. Phoenix is FeLV positive, which can shorten his lifespan, but with regular vet care, a calm home, and proper nutrition, he can live a happy and fulfilling life. He’s easygoing, loves gentle cuddles, and craves companionship. Phoenix gets along well with other laid-back cats, especially those who are also FeLV positive or vaccinated against FeLV, though he’d also be content soaking up all the attention as a solo pet. This is a sweet, affectionate cat who divides his time between bursts of play and cozying up with you. His adoption includes neuter, microchip, and current vaccines. Last Hope Animal Rescue requires adopters to keep cats indoors and to have a history of providing regular vet care. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
