Everything here is new and a little overwhelming, so it’s no surprise that this lovely girl is feeling a bit shy while she settles in. Right now, Rye prefers to take things slowly—observing the world from a cozy, safe spot and quietly figuring out who she can trust. As we continue to spend time with her, we’re sure more of her personality will begin to shine through. What Rye will likely need most is a calm, patient home where she can adjust at her own pace. With kind humans who understand that some cats just need a little extra time, this timid calico has every chance to blossom into a wonderful companion.
