About Waylon
Waylon is a 3-year-old tabby with a giant heart and a memorable story. He landed here when his former owner couldn’t care for him anymore, but Waylon’s attitude has stayed gentle and open to love through all the transitions. Born with Manx syndrome, he’s missing the bones and nerves at the end of his spine and doesn’t have a tail—none of that slows him down or dims his affection. Waylon is FIV+ and FeLV+, so he needs to be an only cat or share a home with other FeLV+ kitties. Even so, Waylon’s kindness wins everyone over. He’s always the first to greet, happy for human interaction, and melts with every bit of attention. If you want a loving companion who’s been through a lot but never lost his spark, Waylon’s ready. Furkids supports post-adoption care for FIV and FeLV-related issues at their clinic. Routine vet care is up to you, but you’ll have resources if his condition ever shifts. Waylon is ready for a soft spot and a reliable friend who understands sometimes special just means more to love. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
