About Ollie

Ollie is proof that miracles do exist! After surviving this frigid winter as a throw away cat, Ollie approached one of our volunteers looking for food and love. Of course she brought him home where he settled in beautifully. On the day he was to be neutered, the vet called with devastating news. Ollie had a severe diaphragmatic hernia. Most of his abdominal organs where in his chest. Emergency surgery was performed by Dr. Wasmer at Stone Veterinary Hospital. The surgery was extremely extensive with no guarantees that Ollie would survive, but this very skilled and compassionate veterinarian saved him. Ollie recovered completely and is ready to find his forever home. Ollie is a very laidback cat that just wants to be loved. He is great with other cats but does not appreciate dogs at all. He would be a wonderful addition to any home environment as long as it didn't include dogs. Ollie was born around February 17, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Oakville. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
