Onyx is high energy, high drive, and absolutely thrives on interaction. She loves people, does great with kids, and is the kind of dog that wants to be in the action, not sitting on the sidelines. She's incredibly smart and very trainable--this is a dog that will excel with structure, consistency, and someone willing to put in a little time. The payoff? A rock-solid, loyal companion. She plays well in playgroups and gets along with other dogs, but she does have a confident personality and could easily take on that alpha role. Because of that, she'd do best in a home with male dogs or a handler comfortable managing strong personalities. Cats? Not her thing. Bottom line--Onyx isn't a "set it and forget it" dog. She's a partner. She needs an active home that will challenge her mind, burn her energy, and give her direction. Do that, and you're going to have one heck of a dog.
