Meet Phoebe 💕 Phoebe is an 8–10 month old bundle of energy and personality who almost didn’t get her chance. She found herself sitting in a crowded shelter, at risk simply because there were too many dogs and not enough space. Thankfully, she made it out just in time and is now ready to find the family she’s been waiting for. This girl lives life in full-speed, joyful mode. Phoebe loves to run, leap, and play like an Olympic athlete in training. She will happily launch herself over other dogs, chase the giant dog ball, and fetch tennis balls for as long as you’re willing to throw them. If there were a gold medal for enthusiasm, Phoebe would already have a trophy shelf. When playtime winds down, Phoebe reveals her second favorite job: professional human shadow. She is a certified Stage 5 clinger who wants to be wherever her person is… yes, even if that place happens to be the bathroom. Personal space is not really her thing, but loyalty definitely is. Phoebe does have a little separation anxiety, especially when left alone or crated, but she is improving every single day as she learns that her humans always come back. With consistency, patience, and a family who keeps her mind and body active, she continues to blossom. Her soft fur, expressive eyes, and those big goofy ears give her endless character. She has a whole collection of funny ear positions that seem to change depending on whether she’s listening, plotting her next leap, or hoping for another tennis ball toss. Phoebe has a confident personality and tends to think she’s the boss of the dog squad, so she would do best with dogs who don’t mind letting her take the lead. Another playful dog or an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures would be perfect for her. The good news? Phoebe is already potty trained, which means she’s ready to jump straight into family life. Phoebe survived the shelter.
