Meet Mia — The Snorting, Short-and-Stout Little Potato 🐷🥔 Mia may be small, but her personality is larger than life. This adorable Micro Bully mix is about 2–3 years old and built like the cutest little short and stout potato you’ve ever seen. She’s low to the ground, thick through the middle, and when she gets excited she grunts like a pig and eats like one too. It’s part of her charm. Mia’s story didn’t start out cute though. She was found abandoned on the side of a freeway inside a crate with no food or water, wearing nothing but a gold choke chain. No one knows exactly what she endured before that moment, but the signs suggest it wasn’t good. Mia has some scars on her head, and her ears appear to have been cropped outside of a veterinary setting. Based on her condition and how she was found, we believe she may have been used for breeding micro bullies in an already overpopulated state with very little spay/neuter enforcement, or possibly kept around as a bait dog. For whatever reason, when she was no longer useful, someone discarded her. But Mia decided she was still going to love people anyway. Today she’s a happy, energetic, affectionate little bulldozer who seems determined to make up for lost time. Mia is: • A Micro Pitty — short, stout, and full of muscle and wiggles • Extremely sweet and affectionate with people • Great with dogs of all sizes • Good with cats • Good with kids, though older kids are best because her parkour skills can accidentally knock over tiny humans • Crate trained and potty trained • Walks great on a leash Her favorite activities include: • Parkouring off people and other dogs like a tiny stunt athlete • Tug-of-war competitions • Zooming around the backyard • Snuggling and soaking up affection • Eating like she’s making up for lost time Because Mia likely spent a long time hungry, she eats very fast. A slow feeder bowl helps her pace herself, and now that she knows meals come regularly, she’s learning she doesn’t have to inhale them anymore. Despite everything she’s been through, Mia is incredibly loving, goofy, and resilient. She’s just happy to be somewhere safe where people are kind and life includes playtime, belly rubs, and full meals. All Mia needs now is a forever family who will appreciate her piggy snorts, laugh at her potato body, and give her the safe life she deserves.
