Maximilian
AvailableMaximilian is a young, neutered male Jack Russell Terrier with a medium build, currently in Pittsboro, NC. He is house-trained and his vaccinations are up to date. Max gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to multi-pet homes. He’s looking for an adopter who can guide him as he continues learning household manners.
About Maximilian
Maximilian, or Max, wins hearts wherever he goes. He’s used to being the center of attention, drawing a crowd of admirers on walks thanks to his handsome looks and sweet nature. Most of his life was spent outdoors, but he’s made a seamless transition to indoor living, picking up house and crate training quickly, and happily responding when called. Max loves a good nap but is also up for a jog, though he’ll happily flop into cool grass if he needs a break. He’s working on fetch and exploring toys for the first time. Max is still learning some manners like "leave it" and keeping all paws on the floor, so he needs a family prepared to provide guidance. Because of this, a home without young children is best. He’s extremely food motivated—trainable and eager to please given the right support. Max gets along with other dogs and cats, making him a great candidate for a social household. He’s got a soft spot for affection, often nudging your hand for extra scritches, and brings a gentle, teddy bear vibe to those around him. Max is ready for a life where he’s treated like family.
