About Matias

*Name: Matias *Age: 8 months (born approximately September 2025) *Current Weight: 25lbs *Rescued from: Puerto Rico *Adoption fee: $700 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit) Meet Matias! Matias is a 6-month-old shepherd/doodle mix with a striking tri-color coat and that perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He was found as a stray, but you'd never know it—he's settling in quickly and taking everything in stride. At about 25 pounds, Matias is still growing and figuring things out. He's curious, social, and enjoys being around people, making him an easy addition for someone ready for a young dog. He'll benefit from routine and guidance as he continues to learn, but he already has a great foundation to build on. Matias is the kind of dog who will happily join you for whatever the day brings—whether that's getting outside, playing, or just being close by. He's looking for a home where he can be included and continue to come into his own. If you're looking for a young dog who is equal parts fun and easygoing, Matias could be your match. All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited. RNR's ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog. MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed. APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.
