To adopt, you must have a valid photo ID and be 21 years of age or older. Adoptions are first come, first served based on best match. To find the most appropriate home for each animal and best fit for each family, SPCA Westchester reserves the right to decline an adoption. If your application is approved, we do same day adoptions and do NOT hold animals unless the animal requires more than one visit.
