This is Meeko, one half of a pair of very sweet and affectionate cats! He was fostered as a kitten in our shelter, along with his sister Salem. Unfortunately, their owners had to move with very little time to look for a place that allowed cats, so the two of them are back to find a new home. They come from a household with kids ranging in ages 5-14, with even younger children coming to visit, and these two cats did excellently with them. They are fond of small kids, and don't mind being picked up and swaddled like a baby. The few times dogs came to visit the house, both cats were a bit skittish, but didn't mind too terribly much about the furry visitors. Meeko in particular is a playful cat, very loving, enjoys cuddling, and enjoys having toys to play with. We highly recommend you adopt the both of them together, as they have spent their entire lives living with one another, and are known to cry and become withdrawn when split up. These two would be excellent in a family with children to love and care for them, and they are available to visit today at SPCA Cincinnati!
