Meet Sara Lee – Outgoing, Confident, and Full of Love Sara Lee is a brave, affectionate momma cat with a heart as big as Chicago. She was found in an abandoned building huddled together with her sister, Betty Crocker, protecting their ten babies between them. From the moment she was brought into foster care, Sara Lee showed just how resilient and loving she truly is. Sara Lee is the more outgoing of the two sisters. She loves to explore her environment, confidently checking out new spaces and keeping an eye on everything going on around her. She truly shines with people and absolutely adores attention from both adults and children. She even lets us hold her like a baby. Petting sessions are her favorite, and she is more than happy to soak up all the affection you are willing to give. Chin scratches are her absolute favorite, and she also loves being held like a baby, happily relaxing in your arms and soaking up the closeness. While she is friendly and social with humans, Sara Lee has been clear that she does not enjoy the company of other adult cats outside of her sister. Betty Crocker is her safe place, her family, and her constant companion. When the sisters were briefly separated into different foster homes, Sara Lee became depressed. Once reunited, both cats quickly returned to their happy, thriving selves. Sara Lee is bonded to Betty Crocker and they must be adopted together. She is looking for a home where she can be herself, love deeply, and continue life side by side with the sister who has been with her through everything. Adoption Information Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home. Adoption Fees Kittens (under 6 months): $150 Adults (over 6 months): $125 Seniors / Special Needs: $75 Please Note: We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying. Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy.
