I'm Cashmere. I have a bit of a reputation to maintain, so let's get this out of the way first. I am very tough. Extremely intimidating. You should probably be a little impressed. Now that that's settled, I do have a small confession. If you actually pick me up and start petting me, I forget all about that and start purring. Loudly. It's a whole thing. I try to play it off like I didn't enjoy it, but I think we both know the truth. I'm still working on my social skills, so I need someone who understands that I might take a minute to warm up. Patience goes a long way with me. Once I feel safe, I'm much softer than I let on. Other cats make a lot of sense to me, and I'm a great companion for them. If you've got a friendly feline at home, I'd be happy to join the team. As for humans, I'm open to the idea. Especially if you come prepared. Wet food helps. Churu really helps. If you happen to have either of those, I'm willing to overlook a lot and give you a chance.
