Roxie is fun-loving, eager to please, and already knows her basic commands—she’s just waiting for someone to continue helping her shine. Roxie is a sturdy lady at around 110 lbs, and while she’s full of love, she doesn’t quite realize her size. Because of that, she would do best in a home with children over 10 who can comfortably handle her enthusiasm. She’s happiest when she’s with her people, so a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods would be ideal. Roxie would prefer a cat-free home. She can get along with other dogs but may be protective over food and treats, so proper introductions and mindful feeding routines will be important. She enjoys going for walks and will benefit from continued leash training to help her be the best walking companion she can be. A fenced backyard would be perfect for Roxie to safely stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors.
