Winkie is a charming 3-year-old looking for his forever home! Though he only has one eye, it does not slow him down at all. In fact, he seems to take in the world more thoughtfully than most. He loves spending his days perched on a windowsill or the back of a sofa, quietly watching birds and rabbits go by. A warm patch of sunlight is one of his favorite places to relax, and he enjoys simply being near his people without needing constant attention. Winkie has a very low energy level and fully embraces a laid back lifestyle. He is a bit chonky and prefers lounging and observing over playing or exploring. He is content to watch the world around him and soak up the peaceful moments. He currently lives in a home with two adults and two older teens, along with access to a three season porch that he absolutely loves. It gives him the perfect spot to safely enjoy the sights and sounds of the outdoors. Winkie's ideal home would be with quiet, understanding humans who respect his boundaries. He is not a particularly snuggly cat and prefers companionship on his own terms. He will happily sit near you and keep you company, but he appreciates having his own space and a bit of a personal bubble. One special thing about Winkie is that he reliably comes when called, whether you use his name or simply call out "cat." He is also quite curious in his own way. At one point he became very interested in the space under a fridge, and it turned out he had discovered a small furry visitor hiding there. His instincts are sharp, even if his lifestyle is relaxed.
