Carlitos is a 6 year old orange tabby who has been through more than his share-and is ready for something softer. He's a talker and a people cat through and through. He'll greet you, check in often, and isn't shy about asking for attention. Underneath it all, he's a true lap cat-gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he's close. Carlitos has a calm, easy nature and would likely do well with other friendly, laid back cats. What he's really looking for, though, is consistency and connection after a life that's been anything but. He is FIV positive, which simply means his immune system needs a little extra support. Many FIV cats live long, comfortable lives, and we're happy to talk more about what that looks like. He's not asking for much-just a steady place to land, and someone who's ready to meet him there.
