About Barbie
Barbie is a 5-year-old Carolina Dog/Shepherd mix with a laid-back, gentle nature. She weighs about 40 lbs and does well in a relaxed home environment. Barbie is partially blind in one eye but navigates life confidently—her vision doesn’t really hold her back. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit, making her easy to live with from day one. Walks go smoothly on either a prong or martingale collar. Barbie gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, and she handles being alone during the workday without fuss or destructive habits. Her favorite activity is settling in with her people—she's a snuggler first, ball-fetcher second. She isn’t fussy about food and accepts treats politely. Baths aren’t her favorite, but she stays patient, and she doesn’t mind nail trims. Barbie is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations, making her a low-maintenance companion with a lot of love to give. She’ll travel from her foster home in Memphis to her new home in PA once adopted. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
