About Winnie

Meet Winnie! She is a 5-month-old approximately 6lb calico domestic shorthair who is always looking for cuddles. If you're sitting on a chair and leave any room behind you or to your side, Winnie will fill it just to be close to you. A perfect day includes Winnie playing with any toy that exists, running around the house and being by your side 24/7. She would love nothing more than to become your shadow. Winnie's superpowers include being completely litter trained, totally content to sit around all day in the sun, and finding toys. She will call to you each time you enter the room and is minorly-talkative. She prefers not to be touched on her lower back. Winnie gets along with other adult cats as she was fostered with 3 other female kittens her age. Some of Winnie's favorite things are aggressive scratches on her chin. She loves to eat any treat-- salmon, tuna, wet cat food, she just loves to eat! If you're looking for a high energy lovable big cat who sits next to you the entire workday and sleep on your bedside every night, then Winnie might be your perfect match! Winnie is currently being fostered in Gramercy, Manhattan and her adoption fee is $200. "Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization. Winnie's adoption fee is $200; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $325. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal."
