Dog's Name: Babe Gumdrop (GUM0326ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Black Mouth Cur / Hound mix Approximate Age: 4 Months Approximate Weight: 18 -20 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Gumdrop! Not only is she the cutest puppy ever, she's also super adaptable! Gumdrop has medium puppy energy with a slightly mischievous side to keep things fun. She's house trained as long as she gets regular potty breaks. Gumdrop would make the perfect family pup! They think I'm a Mountain Cur / Hound mix — I'm not totally sure what that means, but I do know I'm 100% adorable. I'm your classic happy puppy: I love to play I love other dogs I love people And I'm always ready for cuddles after playtime I'm at that perfect age where I'm ready to learn all the good stuff — like how to be your best buddy, go on adventures, and maybe even earn some treats for being extra smart (I'm pretty sure I will be). If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a cuddle buddy, and a professional tail-wagger, I think we might be perfect for each other. So... what do you say? Ready for some wet nose kisses and full-body butt wiggles? Submit an application, I've been waiting for you. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
