Pet Description: Elliot is a three-year-old male Golden Retriever/Aussie looking mix, 47 lbs. She was much loved by her owner who fell ill, went to the hospital only to never return. He came to us as a stray never reclaimed. Elliot is a sweet boy but VERY, VERY shy at first. He took a while to come around to us and now loves attention but don't expect him to come bouncing into your lap. He will need a calm approach so he feels comfortable with you and then he will be all yours! Great with other dogs. Imagine he would be good with children but we do not know for sure so would have to meet to see how the interaction looks. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
