Meet Gloria This medium-sized sweetheart has come such a long way from the unsure, shut-down girl she once was. When she first arrived, Gloria was very reserved and kept to herself, quietly trying to make sense of everything around her. But with time, patience, and gentle care, she is truly starting to come out of her shell, and it's been so beautiful to watch her blossom. These days, she's much more engaged, curious, and willing to connect, showing more of her sweet personality every day. Gloria has unfortunately been in and out of the shelter due to previous fosters or adopters who weren't quite prepared to give her the patience she needs to fully settle and feel secure. Because of that, she's still looking for the right forever home, one that understands that trust takes time and that the best things are worth the wait. Once she feels comfortable, Gloria's playful side shines through! She gets the zoomies, enjoys romping around, and even likes to play with toys on occasion. She also does well with other dogs, which helps her feel more confident and social in her environment. Gloria is no longer the shut-down dog she once was; she's a gentle soul who is learning how to be happy, safe, and loved. With a patient, understanding home, she will continue to grow into the truly wonderful companion she's meant to be.
