Meet Cedar! This beautiful 5 month old hound mix puppy was found as a stray with her sister, Santee, by some good folks near Congaree National Park. Together, they came in shy, skinny, and covered in ticks and cuts from their time in the woods. Though we don't know how they got there, it's obvious from their condition that they'd been out there for quite some time, fending for themselves. Now, these two lovely gals are being spoiled by our staff while they await forever homes. They are dog friendly, affectionate, friendly girlies who are still a bit shy, but blossoming fast! Like all puppies, they will need training and socialization upon adoption. These girls are ready to spread their wings and soar!
