Applications now open for Winston! 🐶He will not be available for meet and greets until next weekend (April 25) but we want to open applications for our followers first before sharing on other pages. Reminder: Adoptions are never first come first serve, we want the best fits for our babies! Winston is 7 years old and 16 pounds. If you want a snuggler who is on your lap and by your side gazing at you adoringly, this is your boy! ❤️ He is THE SWEETEST. He will remind you to pet him and tap his tummy if you forget! He makes silly little sounds to garner your sympathy ( sneaky pants, he is fine). He can be a couch potato but also loves going for walks twice a day and loves sniffing EVERYTHING. 🌻🪻🌹🌳 He really likes going to the park for walks! He enjoys dogs his size and will probably benefit from another small furry friend in the house. He is fine as an only dog too, we think he has been an only dog. Does not seem fearful of bigger dogs. He has not been around cats or kids since we have had him;appears indifferent to them on walks. A little leery of men and joggers 🏃‍♂️; wants to chase after them 😜DANGER DANGER 😂 He loves 💕 being with his person and has some separation anxiety so will need a puppy pen for when you leave him home. He will chew on a crate and possibly hurt himself but does ok in a pen. Doesn’t like it but is ok. May be better if another dog? 🤷‍♀️He is the only dog in his foster home. Winston loves going on car rides 🚗 and to different places. If you are driving alone, do not let him loose in the car because he will absolutely INSIST on being in your lap while driving, which is not safe 😬. He needs a dog seat or seatbelt or a crate. Winston’s foster mom loves him and really wants the perfect fit. His original mom suffered a medical event and could no longer keep him but he was clearly loved for a long time. He has had some medical issues we had to take care of but should be fully recovered by next weekend. Poor buddy had several infections when we got him 😞 but is all recovered now. He just had an ear mass removed, two tooth extractions, and got neutered. Whew! Despite the circumstances he is trusting and loving.
