I'm a happy guy who really loves being around my people. If you're looking for a dog who will stick by your side, I'm your boy. I'm very attentive to my humans and always want to know what we're doing next together. I'm also easy on the leash, so walks with me are relaxed and enjoyable. I like getting outside, and spending time with the person at the other end of the leash. Right now I'm heartworm positive, which just means I'll need treatment, which is paid for by the shelter, and some time to take it easy while I get healthy again. The good news is you can foster-to-adopt me while I go through treatment. That means we can start bonding right away, and once I'm all better, I can officially become yours.
