About Violet

Violet is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process! Here's what we know so far about her time in foster care: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:703c17f1-22d5-405d-a008-8a7d123f351d Violet's (a 3 1/2-year-old female) personality shines through her sweet, curious, and cuddly nature. A bit shy initially, Violet has a knack for warming up to people with some time, filling them with a sense of warmth and companionship. Her inquisitive nature makes every day an adventure, and her cuddly demeanor makes every moment a memory. Violet's sweetness is not just skin deep, it is a part of her core, making her an endearing companion. Adopt Violet to add a touch of sweetness and curiosity to your life, and provide her with a loving home she deserves! Her foster says "She is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Within 24 hours, she became noticeably more relaxed and happy - starting to play with her toys and showing her gentle, loving personality. After a couple of days, she's much more settled, and her goofy, happy, playful self is really shining. She was a little timid when we first met, but with a slow and gentle approach, she builds trust quickly and becomes very affectionate and snuggly. She loves snoozing in her bed and will choose to go there when she wants a nap (she knows its her spot and it seems to be her safe space). She sleeps well through the night in her own bed and is always excited to wake up and greet you with morning snuggles.". On walks, Violet has been wonderful. She walks nicely on leash and does not react to other dogs, people, kids, bikes, or scooters. She especially enjoys sniffing and will often come over and lean on your legs while you pause on walks, which is very sweet. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure she is ready for her next steps. Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call. For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org.
