At just 1.5 years old, Lovey the yellow Lab is exactly what her name promises—lovey-dovey, affectionate, and ready to steal your heart (and probably your snacks). Her first time out of her kennel she was a little hesitant, not knowing what to expect but she warmed up quickly and showed her true personality. Once she did, she was all wiggles, tail wags, and “hi, please love me forever” energy. She took care of business right away (gold star) and then got straight to making friends. Lovey has been friendly with nearby dogs and even offered some adorable play bows, clearly ready for fun. She loves toys and balls, though bringing them back seems optional in her world—she’s more of a “you throw it again, I’ll keep being cute” kind of girl. Lovey is also a smart cookie who already knows sit, stay, come, and leave it, and she’s very treat motivated, making her eager and fun to train. Lovey is incredibly affectionate and happy to climb right into your lap if given the chance. She walked nicely on leash, handled going into the building without any issues, and took everything in stride like a pro. Lovey is the total package—sweet, playful, a little goofy, and full of heart.
