About Mary Kate
Mary Kate, or MK for short, is the "blue" sister of our sibling pair, always easy to spot with her blue collar. She and her sister Ashley were found together as strays—thin, a little wary, but hopeful. At just about 10 months old, Mary Kate still has that puppy spark, ready to bond and always looking for new experiences. She starts off shy with strangers, yet she warms up with patience and a gentle approach; soon her affectionate, gentle side is clear. MK loves walks, meeting new people (on her terms), and has made big strides in overcoming timidity and curbing her excitable moments. She learns fast and thrives with positive reinforcement. She’s best suited for families with preteens or older who can give her space at first and help her build trust. MK’s a sweet companion with a ton of potential who just needs support to come into her own. Click apply to start the adoption process.
