I will lean into your hand, I will purr, I will make it very clear that you have made an excellent decision. Now, about other cats. I want to be upfront with you: I'm not anti-cat. I'm just pro-personal-space. The shelter had a lot of cats, and some of them had no concept of boundaries. I handled it the only way I knew how — a firm smack to the head. No claws, no drama, no hard feelings. Just a gentle reminder that this is my area right here. I wasn't looking for a fight. I was looking for a little dignity. In a calmer home with one, maybe two cats who understand the concept of personal space? I think we'd get along just fine. What I'm really looking for is simple: a cozy spot to nap, a window with something worth watching, and a person who wants to give and receive love in equal measure. I have a lot of love saved up.
