Meet Freckles! He is a very sweet 6½ year old, male cattle dog/lab type mix with a heart full of love! Sadly, he came to us after his owner passed away, and now he’s hoping to find a new person to call his own. Freckles is a laid back, gentle boy who enjoys the simple things in life… playing with his toys, going for walks, and even romping around in the snow! He also loves being petted and brushed. He is a little chubby, but once we started his daily walks, Freckles proudly lost 7 pounds in one month! He is house trained, vaccinated, and does well with the other dogs at the shelter. Freckles is timid and would do best in a quiet home with no children. He needs a patient, understanding adopter who will give him time to settle in, and in return, he’ll be your most loyal companion.
