About Snowy
Meet Snowy! Snowy is a five-year-old Lab/Great Pyrenees mix, weighing around 50 lbs, and she's finally ready for her own home after a rough start on the streets. She spent over a year fending for herself with several other dogs and was very wary of people when first rescued. Two months in foster care have helped her come out of her shell—she now enjoys the comforts and routines of a family. Snowy really needs a home with at least one other dog. She follows her canine companions' lead and relies on them while she’s still building her own confidence. A patient adopter is key as she keeps learning to trust. Snowy is house trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, and does well left alone without a crate—she really doesn't like them. She’s better suited to a household with older kids who’ll respect her space during her transition. When Snowy lets her guard down, she’s goofy and playful. She loves running with her foster siblings, hunting for sticks, and will happily accept scratches and treats. Toys are still new to her but becoming a favorite quickly. If you’ve got dog companions and want to see a quiet spirit blossom, Snowy could be the one. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
