Hi there, I’m Crissy! I’m an 8-year-old, 50 lb Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as they come. I’m a laid-back gal who’s happiest when snuggled up on the couch, soaking in all the love and belly rubs I can get. I adore meeting new people—especially if they’re handing out pets or treats! I do wonderfully with kids of all ages and am the perfect mellow companion for a family that enjoys cozy evenings and quiet company. I get along nicely with other calm dogs, though I really value my personal space. I’d be happiest as your one-and-only or with another easygoing senior pup who respects my boundaries. I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and walk politely on leash. While I’m not a big fan of baths or loud noises (fireworks and thunder make me want to curl up somewhere safe), I’m the sweetest, most loyal girl once I trust you. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
